Perspectives

Wednesday 20 July
7.30pm
Nutley Church Hall

This month’s speaker will be Zara Hutchinson-Goncalves, daughter of David & Anne, residents of Nutley.

Married to Bartholomeu, a Brazilian, Zara lives and works in Goiania, Brazil where she teaches. After graduating in English and French from Swansea University, Zara went to Brazil for a three month stint to work on a project with street children. Eleven years later she is still there, having acquired a husband and two children along the way!

Bart is a Baptist minister and both Zara and Bart are heavily involved in a local church which they founded and built. They are also both committed to a project to support disadvantaged children and encourage them off the streets and into a settled and productive life.

Zara and Bart will talk about their life and work in Brazil.

All welcome, no charge, although any donations towards their work would no doubt be appreciated. There will, as usual, be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and make comments after the talk.

Perspectives meetings are open to everyone, and aim to provide opportunities for thinking about and discussing moral, ethical, spiritual, environmental and practical issues that affect us all.
