"...be filled with the Spirit, addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with all your heart, giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." (Ephesians 5:18-20)

The Bible portrays joy and song to be particular marks of the Christian because they are the natural expression of a heart that is thankful to God for all we have in Jesus. Whether one's preferences are contemporary or classical, it is this joy and thankfulness in response to Bible truth that makes praise truly praise.

Some Christian hymns and songs are excellent yet many are very poor. These are links to some of the best in terms of musicality and faithfulness to scripture. They include those intended to be sung congregationaly and others which are performed to be listened to.
