"Let us consider how we may spur one another on to love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching." (Hebrews 10:24-25)Christians have always found meeting in smaller groups essential to growing in their faith. Such groups give opportunity to get to know others properly, discuss and apply the bible to the specific issues each person faces, pray for one-another as we seek to live the Christian life and consider together how to reach out with the gospel to others.
We have a number of homegroups and encourage everyone who worships with us on Sunday to belong to one. If you do not yet attend a group, do please email or call Nick (01825 769004) who will help you find one that best fits your circumstances.
Some are nervous of getting involved because they don't feel spiritual enough, outgoing enough or able to pray aloud. If that' s you, can we encourage you that many in the groups feel the same way? You will not be expected to do anything you are not yet ready for. We would just love to have you amongst us.
